I’m Thomas and this is the homepage of my own project “Elladacamper”. Since years me and my family are big fans of Greece spending almost all our holidays there. We love the country with its landscapes, food and people. Every day a new place can give you new inspiration. For us Greece is ideal for exploring on your own, away from the tourists hotspots.
Thus one day the decision was made to buy a camper van. We wanted to buy a mobile home with enough space for four people. But it should be compact enough to carry us though the narrow streets of Greece with a standard driving license.
Finally we decided to buy our “Winni” – Weinsberg Carabus 600 MQH:
It is fully equipped with many useful gadgets, for example:
- Roof Air conditioner – needs mains supply
- Roof Fan (Maxxfan) – off grid operable
- awening, sun umbrella
- solar panels (240 Wp) and 2nd leisure battery (2x 100 Ah Lithium) for some days of autonomous camping
- rear view camera , parking assistance system (acoustic)
- alarm system
- camping table with 4 folding chairs
- cookware, disheware, coffe maker
- towels, bed linen
- and much more.
Unfortunately, our life consists not only of holidays. So we can not use it permamently. But it is your chance, because therefore you can rent it! No need to drive the vehicle across Europe to spent only few days in Greece! I think, it’s better to leave it there. So we parked it close to the Airport of Athens. Now we can fly over within few hours with our personal luggage, while oure mobile home is waiting for us ready to go. Climb in and get the holiday started!
